About our Seaside flooring contractor team

Who we are, how we work on your concrete and what happens when you ask us to look at your floor.

Our story started at a desk, not a slab

I spent years at a desk in an office job before I figured out I'd rather be working with my hands. I learned concrete floors as a helper on grinding and coating crews, which is a polite way of saying I swept a lot of dust and learned plenty the hard way. In 2023 I started Seaside Sterling Epoxy Floors as a flooring contractor here in Seaside.

We're best known for garage floors. Most of our calls come from homeowners, along with shop and small business owners who need a floor that can take a beating. What those crews taught me is that when a floor fails, it's usually because of what's under it. So the part I care about most is the prep nobody sees, and I'd rather tell you your slab isn't ready yet than sell you a pretty coating that starts peeling.

  • Licensed and insured.
  • Free quotes on site.
  • We reply within 1 business day.

What you get when we do your floor

These are the things you'll notice from the first visit to the day you walk on the finished floor, because they're the parts of the job I won't cut corners on.

  • Your slab gets checked before anything goes down

We look for cracks, moisture and old sealers, then grind and repair until the concrete is ready to hold a coating. It's like painting a wall, because nobody paints over peeling plaster and expects it to last.

  • The person who quotes it is there when it's installed

I come out to see your floor and I'm on the job with our installers, so nothing you told me gets lost along the way. We keep dust captured and wash water out of the gutters, so your house and your street stay clean while we work.

  • Straight answers, even when it means a smaller job

If a simple repair or a simpler option makes more sense for your floor, I'll tell you. We're licensed and insured, and the state requires a contractor's license on any job where labor and materials total $1,000 or more, so it's fair to ask that of anyone bidding.

What to expect from first call to finished floor

Here's how a job goes with us, so you know who you'll talk to, what you'll get in writing and what we check before any work starts on your floor.

  1. Step 01

    Call or send the form

Call (831) 204-4050 or use the form on our contact page to tell me what's going on with your floor. We reply within one business day to set up a time for me to come take a look.

  2. Step 02

    Walk the floor with me

I come out myself and give you a free quote on site, with no obligation. Your written estimate lays out the prep, the product and how long the floor is out of use, so you can compare bids fairly.

  3. Step 03

    Permits checked, then the work

Before we start, we check with the local city or county building office and tell you what they said, and if your job needs a permit we handle the paperwork with you. Then I'm on site with our installers until it's done.
